Following a spell with us in the mid 90's, Michael rejoined KSS as an associate in March 2006 bringing the High Holborn project with him from his previous practice.

His main expertise is in the commercial and retail sectors, where his MSc in Property Development (Project Management) means he is well placed to support clients on commercial development issues, though his practical approach and all-round ability have led him to become involved in our education and leisure sector work as well.

Within the practice he is jointly responsible for establishing and maintaining our sustainability procedures, and is also member of the quality assurance management team.

Debbie joined KSS in 2007 with a background in retail and commercial interiors, and in a relatively short period of time with us has gained broad experience on a number of high profile projects.

She believes in the practice ethos of understanding client values as the means of generating ideas, and is a strong team player who enjoys collaboration with architectural colleagues, contractors and suppliers.

Her natural sense of style, attention to detail and ability to communicate her ideas means she is widely liked by her clients, and for these reasons she was deservedly made an associate of the practice in 2011.

Helen joined KSS in 2003 and now jointly leads our interiors and graphics team. Her background was in retail and exhibition design, and since being with us, has gained experience in a broad range of commercial, education, healthcare, and sports projects.

She believes in an approach based on understanding and integrating client values into the finished designs, and working closely with the architectural team to develop a rounded product for the whole of the building.

Since becoming an associate in 2006, she has continued to bring her enthusiasm for design by leading projects from concept and detailed design through to completion.

George joined KSS in 2005 and was made an associate in 2008. His background was in residential and educational projects, and since joining us he has further developed his expertise in these fields and played a key role in central funding bids for large education schemes.

He also has a broad understanding of commercial, healthcare and mixed use schemes, and is able to marry strategic thinking with a creative design touch.

Within KSS he is a good team player and has the respect of all who work with him. He also plays an active role in promoting sustainability and is jointly responsible for the ongoing development of our practice environmental policy.
