Havering College opens new L'Oreal Hair & Beauty Facility

Because you're worth it! KSS have just completed a new world class Hair & Beauty Facility at Havering College, Sawyers Hall.

Our project for Havering College Further and Higher Education involved the adaption and transformation of a 1930's existing building at Sawyers Hall College (School) into a world class Hair and Beauty Facility.

Havering College is one of five L'Oreal Professional flagship Colleges which will deliver all aspects of hair and beauty treatments. Comprising 16 professional treatment booths, 16 hair stations and three wash stations, reception area plus all the necessary back up facilities including laundry and dispensary areas. Additional works included a general classroom for 18 students, staff areas as well as refurbished toilets. The works involved adaption and removal of load bearing inner walls, new sub floors, new ceilings with new lighting and ventilation. The interior design uses bold accent colours on feature walls and window reveals with the ability to showcase the salon furniture achieving a very professional feel.

Visiting the College Alan Richardson Managing Director of L'Oreal Professional said 'the facilities were 'inspirational and exciting, the whole offer is fantastic and modern within a light, bright airy space'.
