BBC Radio Sussex live interview with Amex stadium architects

Andy Simons, Director of KSS, the architects and designers for the new American Express Community Stadium for Championship side Brighton & Hove Albion FC, will be interviewed live on BBC Radio Sussex, Saturday August 6, 2011.

The first match of the 2011-2012 sees the Seagulls playing their first competitive match against Doncaster at their new stadium with BCC Radio Sussex broadcasting live from the Amex throughout the day. The interview will be preceded by a pre-recorded piece from Atilla the Stockbroker, the legendary punk poet, folk punk musician and songwriter, who also happens to be an ardent Seagulls fan! He will be talking about what the stadium means to him then leading into questions with Andy about what it's like to design a building that people have such a strong emotional connection with. Andy will answer questions about the design process, the general reaction from the Club, fans and industry experts.
