KSS were appointed through design competition
with Sadar Vuga Arhitekiti to provide specialist sport consultant advice on designs for a new 16,000 capacity football stadium and 15,000 capacity basketball and handball arena in Ljubljana.
Built on a former quarry site, the two venues are set into the ground and form part of a wider master plan which includes a major retail development and landscaped roof sports park. The stadium opened in August 2010, with Slovenia playing Australia in an international friendly.
