LogicaCMG is a major force in the international information technology and wireless telecoms field, and our brief for its new outsourcing office building in the Bridgend Science Park was to provide a fully integrated design solution which confidently expressed the company's business values.
Our design concept configured the office accommodation in two compact blocks separated by a circulation / atrium space, with the blocks pulled sideways away from each other, similar to the way a piece of fabric might be tugged between two hands. The splayed central area reflected predicted lines of people movement into and around the building and was used as a generator for the pointed external architectural forms.
