Our redevelopment master plan for this complex historical site combined a lively mix of residential accommodation, rehabilitation health and social care facilities and retail outlets, linked together by a series of sensory courtyards to provide a "centre for independent living".

Our concept expressed the rich historical layers of the site and its retained buildings, slotting contemporary elements alongside them to enhance rather than create a pastiche.
