Planning approval for mixed use 206 Marylebone Road

This week, Marylebone Properties Ltd received planning approval for the conversion of the KSS designed 206 Marylebone Road into residential accommodation including 64 flats for both private sale and shared ownership, 1400sqm of office space and 440sqm of retail units.

Duncan Ferguson, Director at Lancer Property Asset Management was highly complementary of the mixed use scheme “KSS did a great job in crafting this mixed use redevelopment of our site in Marylebone Road which embeds affordable and luxury housing whilst retaining a legacy of office use and retail frontage to Marylebone Road.”

The key design concept behind the scheme is to retain the character, scale and identity created by the existing building’s 1930s stone facades, and build new structure and accommodation to modern residential and office standards. KSS’ contemporary design will add to the urban grain, whilst also contributing positively to the local streetscape and surrounding context.
