Successful debut season for KSS in AFL

KSS’ first season in the Architects Football League (AFL) has been a fantastic success with the practice fighting for promotion to League One.

KSS joined AFL in September and have gone onto to win seven games out of nine in the Conference, scoring more goals than any other team in the league.

Drawn up of Architects, Interior Designers and Graphic Designers – KSS FC’s brand of ‘tika-taka’ and counter-attacking football has led to several enthralling and exhilarating matches throughout the season.

KSS FC captain Roberto Faratro said, “It’s not often that you join a new league and immediately fight for the title, yet here we are – sat joint top as the league’s top scorers. After a blistering start to the season, with five wins from five, an injury-hit string of two wins and two defeats has allowed the chasing pack to close in, and consequently we head into the final game of the season in a 2-horse sprint for glory.

As the title race reaches its conclusion, it can all be summed up by the great Bill Shankly “Some people think football is a matter of life and death. I assure you, it’s much more serious than that!”
