KSS signs agreement with Lega Pro

This week an agreement for a league wide stadium redevelopment programme was signed between Lega Pro and KSS at the Olympic Stadium in Rome during the 'Day of Work on Sport Infrastructure'.

Lega Pro strongly believe that this landmark collaboration will contribute not only to the infrastructure renewal but also will change the way stadiums will be managed and perceived in the future with a particular focus on the sustainability of the project and spectator enhancement. ‘Demand is strong on the stadiums’ said the Il Credito Sportivo Commissioner, Paolo D’Alessio ‘historically demand has been met but now we have to look to the future, requirement for new sports facilities is very high, as well as the renovation of existing ones.’

So far 16 clubs have expressed their interest for the regeneration of their stadium infrastructure as Lega Pro General Director Francesco Ghirelli stated ‘Football without the fans is not football, the stadium is a priority in our daily work.’
