New mixed-use development completes in Bow

Our latest project with Vistry Partnerships is now complete at Devons Road in Bow.

Lime Quarter, a joint venture between Vistry Partnerships and Newlon Housing Trust, is the final phase of a mixed-use development in East London. The large site includes a 19-storey contemporary residential tower, 130 high-quality apartments, and a 7-storey office building providing over 5,000sqm of flexible commercial space. Adjacent to the Grade 2* listed public house The Widow’s Son, over 400sqm of ground floor retail surrounds the public square creating a unique community space.

KSS’ technical role on the project focused on modern building detailing, appropriate specification and all-round deliverability of the scheme.

Associate Director Andy Karaiskos said, “Working closely with Vistry Partnerships has been rewarding for the whole project team. The combination of materials specified and detailed has successfully achieved the translation of the design into the final building form with an incredible likeness to our visualisations for the range of building types. We are delighted with the successful delivery of the project.”

Designed for environmental and social sustainability, Lime Quarter delivers a new sense of place for the local community setting a precedent for the regeneration of the wider area.
