New Plough Lane visuals released

Today, AFC Wimbledon released new visuals of Plough Lane Stadium as the club look to return to their original home.

The exciting development is the culmination of a fan-owned rebirth for AFC Wimbledon that started 17 years ago as the English Football League One club look to the future and developing a state-of-the-art stadium.

KSS and Buckingham Group Contracting Ltd are proud to be working with AFC Wimbledon on the specifications for the stadium, which will be integrated in the wider Plough Lane development including new residential units, retail and commercial space.

The West Stand will have four floors and three tiers with media facilities and 12 glass-fronted executive boxes looking down on to the pitch. The players’ tunnel will lead out from the centre of the stand, with the managers’ technical areas either side.

Plough Lane will include several unique features comprising its very own pub, open 7-days a week, which the local community can use during normal licensing hours. Additionally, a new fan zone, which can be accessed from all stands so fans can meet before, during and after games. The stadium will also include the largest conferencing suite in the borough, capable of seating 500 guests and a museum charting the history of the club with tours available for the wider community.

The stadium will complete the resurrection and revival of the club, taking The Dons back to their spiritual home.
