Successful TDS17 for KSS

The recent Stadium Business Design & Development Summit 2017 in Barcelona, Spain was a huge success for KSS with Associate Director Debbie Brant presenting our designs for One Twenty at Wembley Stadium, and Director Andy Simons discussing our award-winning Main Stand expansion for Liverpool FC.

On day one, Debbie and Head of Marketing at Club Wembley Ros Robinson delivered one of the key presentations at the Summit discussing the new exclusive members’ club at the Home of Football. Debbie and Ros focussed on the transformation of the guest experience, unique design features and setting a new benchmark in sports hospitality.

Debbie said after the event, “We thoroughly enjoyed talking about the One Twenty experience to all the delegates at TDS17. The new club has redefined the matchday experience, and is now one of the leading hospitality spaces in the UK. TDS17 provided the perfect platform to showcase our latest sports work”.

In the afternoon, Andy took part in a panel discussion on the key delivery, operational and safety challenges of keeping stadiums in use whilst major builds take place, using our Main Stand at Anfield Stadium as a case study.

Both speeches were well received by a captive international audience of delegates. Andy said after the event, “A great conference once again, well attended with an informative and compact agenda. One main conference space, without the fragmentation of breakout seminars ensured a decent audience for every session”.

Later in the evening, we won best ‘Interior & Fit Out’ for the Main Stand at the inaugural TheStadiumBusiness Design & Development Awards 2017.

We look forward to highlighting our latest sports projects at TheStadiumBusiness Design & Development Summit 2018.
