This concept design proposed the redevelopment of the famous “Rec” ground to provide a new 25,000 capacity modern stadium for Bath Rugby in the heart of the historic city centre.

Designed in partnership with Wilkinson Eyre, the proposal focussed on the need to maintain and enhance the unique Bath Rugby match day experience, activating the River Avon frontage and responding to the complex architectural requirements of building in a world heritage site.
