Halfway Houses Primary School, Kent

Project Details

Halfway Houses is a three form entry primary school built by Kier for Kent County Council by under the Priority Schools Building Programme.

The school embodies the “forest school” ethos that outside learning encourages children to instigate, explore and maintain a healthy and empowering curiosity in the natural world around them.

Our design reinforces this notion and provides a natural, uplifting and welcoming environment, with extensive internal connectivity to the outside and a vibrant façade clad in Siberian larch.
