Our Partnership
Our relationship with The All England Lawn Tennis Club spans a diverse portfolio of projects that have helped shape the Wimbledon experience for players, officials, members, media and spectators alike. From the transformative redevelopment of No.1 Court through to estate-wide visitor enhancements, bespoke product design and future-focused building refurbishments, our work demonstrates a holistic approach to design that balances heritage, innovation and operational excellence.
Over the years, our partnership has evolved beyond individual commissions into a trusted long-term collaboration. Each project has built upon the success of the last, allowing us to develop a deep understanding of the Club's unique character, traditions and ambitions. Together, we have delivered architectural, interior, graphic and product design solutions that enhance The Championships while ensuring Wimbledon remains the premier Grand Slam event in world tennis.
No.1 Court Redevelopment
Our partnership began with the major redevelopment of No.1 Court, a landmark project that transformed one of the Championships' most important venues. At its heart was the delivery of a 6,000 sqm retractable roof capable of enclosing the stadium in just 8 to 10 minutes, ensuring uninterrupted play and extending the possibilities of championship scheduling.
Alongside the roof, the project introduced 15 premium hospitality suites, upgraded debenture facilities, enhanced player and official areas, new commentary positions and a landscaped external food court. Delivered in phases while maintaining annual tournament operations, the redevelopment successfully blended innovation with Wimbledon's tradition of "tennis in an English garden."
We work across a diverse range of projects and take pride in consistently delivering results through strong collaboration, learning from one another and providing support to achieve the best outcomes.
Centre Court Centenary Enhancements
As Centre Court approached its 100th anniversary, we were appointed to enhance the appearance and functionality of the iconic venue while respecting its remarkable heritage.
The project included a new player entrance, additional seating, improved accessibility facilities, upgrades to the commentary areas and refinements to the court surrounds. Drawing inspiration from original 1920s drawings and historic archive material, we reintroduced heritage detailing including the restoration of the original balustrade pattern, creating a unified design that celebrates the past while enhancing the experience for today's players, officials and spectators.
Millennium Building Refurbishment
Our latest commission represents the next chapter in our partnership with the All England Club.
Currently under construction, the extensive refurbishment of the Millennium Building will create a future-ready destination for players, media and members. The project combines architectural, interior and graphic design expertise to deliver enhanced dining and social spaces, a new media hub, improved player facilities, external terraces and a striking low-carbon roof structure. Supporting the Club's ambition to achieve net zero carbon by 2030, the development demonstrates how our long-term understanding of Wimbledon continues to shape its future.
“KSS should be proud of all the work they have done in maintaining Wimbledon’s status as the premier Grand Slam event. We have thoroughly enjoyed continuing our work with KSS beyond the No.1 Court redevelopment.”

Reimagining the Umpire's Chair
To mark Centre Court's centenary, we were also challenged to redesign one of the most recognisable objects in tennis: Wimbledon's umpire's chair.
Selected through an internal design competition, the winning design combines traditional craftsmanship with modern ergonomics, technology integration and improved functionality. Inspired by classic wooden tennis rackets and Wimbledon's garden setting, the chair's elegant timber form allows it to perform to the highest level while remaining visually understated, ensuring the focus stays firmly on the action on court.
A New Family of Wimbledon Kiosks
Building on the success of No.1 Court, we were invited to participate in an internal design competition to reimagine six key visitor kiosks across the Grounds.
The winning concept created a family of distinctive retail and information points, each tailored to its specific function while sharing a cohesive visual identity. Designed as highly visible "beacons" within the busy Championships environment, the kiosks improve wayfinding, operational efficiency and the overall visitor experience while embodying the values and character of Wimbledon.
Together, these projects illustrate the strength of a partnership built on trust, collaboration and a shared ambition to continually improve one of the world's most prestigious sporting venues. From major stadium infrastructure and hospitality environments to bespoke product design and future-focused sustainability initiatives, our work with Wimbledon demonstrates how long-term partnerships can create lasting value across an entire estate.
