Our competition entry presented an ambitious and thoughtfully designed proposal for a new-built school campus within the rapidly expanding Ebbsfleet Garden City development in Whitecliffe, near Dartford.
The proposed campus would offer a comprehensive learning environment, catering to the full educational journey from early years through to secondary education. With capacity for over 2,200 students, the development will encompass a new nursery, a primary school and a secondary school — all integrated within a cohesive, modern campus masterplan. At the heart of this educational complex will be the Alkerden Church of England Academy, envisioned as the central institution that will lead the academic and community-focused ethos of the site.
Our design reflects a deep commitment to sustainability, inclusivity and future-focused learning. We have prioritised flexible learning spaces, shared facilities to foster community engagement and an inspiring environment that supports both academic excellence and personal growth.
