The recently completed refurbishment of the First Team Basement at Sunderland AFC's Academy of Light has transformed a key area of the training ground into a modern, functional environment for players and staff.
Delivered during the summer break of 2026, the project introduces new social and collaboration spaces alongside upgraded changing facilities, helping to improve player flow throughout the building and enhance the day-to-day experience of the first-team environment.
