Our Partnership
For more than a decade, we have partnered with the Rugby Football Union (RFU) at Twickenham Stadium, supporting the ongoing evolution of one of the world's most iconic rugby venues. Our relationship has encompassed a diverse range of projects, from elite player facilities and premium hospitality environments to major stand developments and public-facing fan experiences. Through each commission, we have developed a deep understanding of the stadium, its heritage, and the RFU's ambition to create an exceptional experience for players, members, guests and supporters alike. Our work at Twickenham reflects a long-standing partnership built on trust, collaboration and a shared commitment to excellence.
KSS’ project work at Twickenham has included upgrading the player facilities in the West Stand ahead of the 2015 Rugby World Cup, followed by a major expansion of the East Stand in 2018.
Our goal has been to elevate the standards at the Home of England Rugby through a thoughtful design approach encompassing architecture, interiors and graphics.
We have significantly enhanced the player changing and circulation areas and introduced six distinct hospitality venues, adding depth and variety to the stadium’s offerings. These improvements further reinforce Twickenham’s reputation as a world-class sporting destination.
“The developments bring a fresh feel to our spaces and create more opportunities for a range of events and enhanced technology infrastructure.”
Chris Morris, Managing Director, Twickenham Experience Limited
We work across a diverse range of projects and take pride in consistently delivering results through strong collaboration, learning from one another and providing support to achieve the best outcomes.

The British Airways Rose Garden
This immersive rooftop space was designed for connection and celebration, seamlessly blending premium outdoor hospitality with vibrant festival vibes.
The Rose Garden is a spectacular rooftop bar that was designed to deliver a premium yet informal outdoor experience that aligns with the evolving expectations of modern rugby fans. Situated on Level Five of the stadium, this innovative venue combines the energy of live sport with a festival-style atmosphere, creating a unique and dynamic hospitality environment.
The concept behind The Rose Garden is to offer an engaging space that reflects the spirit of England Rugby while appealing to a growing demographic of fans who seek a high-energy environment. The design incorporates rustic garden aesthetics inspired by the English Rose, featuring key elements such as secluded pergolas, informal tiered terrace seating, live entertainment and a curated selection of street-food destination pods.
This project redefines traditional stadium hospitality by focusing on immersive fan engagement and social interaction. The space fosters a high-energy environment where guests can enjoy premium service in a relaxed, open-air setting. The Rose Garden enhances the overall matchday experience, positioning Twickenham Stadium as a leader in contemporary sports venue innovation.
The Lock
A quintessentially English premium event space that blends contemporary interior design with subtle patriotic accents, paying tribute to the Home of English Rugby.
Locks 4 and 5 on Level 3 are premium event spaces offering a sophisticated setting with contemporary design, high ceilings, and abundant natural daylight. Guests can enjoy uninterrupted views of the iconic Twickenham pitch and panoramic vistas extending towards central London.
These elegant spaces feature refined interior details and subtle patriotic accents that pay tribute to the Home of England Rugby, creating a uniquely English experience that blends tradition with modern luxury.
The Gate
Blending rugby’s fierce energy with the warmth of home, we created a bold, immersive dining experience rooted in character and authentic design.
The Gate – Chop House (Levels 1 & 2) delivers an authentic dining experience inspired by the bold spirit of rugby and the warmth of home. Guests enjoy a hearty, classic menu paired with carefully curated wines, all while watching live rugby action. With direct access to premium bowl seating, The Gate seamlessly blends hospitality with the thrill of the game.
Its name carries a dual meaning, rooted in both the world of rugby and the welcoming idea of a “home gate.” This layered identity is reflected in the interior design, where raw industrial materials meet striking bull-versus-player artwork. Meat-themed props, a dedicated wine-tasting room, and meat larder displays at the entrance further immerse guests in a rich, visceral atmosphere that elevates every visit.
“The beauty and power of rugby has been redefined at the very heart of Twickenham Stadium thanks to the latest transformations designed by KSS.”
Richard Knight, Stadium Director, RFU
